The Activity on its own is a container or host for an Event Template/s. The event template is the item that carries out the task or tasks associated with the Default Activity. A default activity may contain as many event template's as required.
Add the default Activity onto the process design canvas by selecting the Default Activity from the K2 blackpearl ToolBox. Once the Activity has been added to the design canvas, the configuration wizards can be run by selecting them from the Activity Strip.
When you add your first activity, you may add a blank Activity or by loading the event template onto the design canvas
The order in which the Event templates are listed in an a Default Activity will impact on the execution of the Activity as a whole. Event Wizards such as IPCs or Server Events; events which will be unable to complete their task until such time as they receive a response from the Server or Service will prevent the Activity Item from completing or place the process in a static state pending completion.
